Flying Carpets was acquired by the Solomon R.Guggenheim,NewYork for an exhibition at the Museum.This entailed full production and projectmanagement by Unit 21 Consulting of the installation with fabricators in Dubai. The piece consists of 30 stainless steel frames threaded with over two thousand five hundred rubber strings. A second edition was produced for the Sharjah Art Foundation. Note that his work was originally made for the Abraaj Prize 2011.
